Algy Piermont, is the deceased husband of Lady Clarissa Piermont who she mentions in conversation with George Stobbart in Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templars. Through dialogue options it becomes clear that Algy was not a very generous or affectionate person. Lady Piermont herself admits that she didn't consider him a 'loved one' despite the fact that she was married to him for many years, suggesting that their marriage wasn't one of passion but more one of convenience and/or money.

Algy is rarely mentioned again after asking Lady Piermont about herself and is even glossed over by other potential romantic conquests by his wife, namely a drunken Breton chef and Monsieur Moerlin.
