During an excavation due to renovations at Institut Hermétique de Nerval, the employees find a Baphomet statue, similar to the one find in Syria . The statue is beneath the foundations, one of the workmen notices a curious stain at the base. He claims it looks like blood.

In the need to take a look to the statue, George has to distract the guard so he’s able to access the site. With the help of Nico and one of the workman ’s building materials, he finally learns that it’s true that the Templars were once there.
Close up, the pattern doesn’t make any sort of sense. It fans out around an axis point, a kind of focus to one side. Thanks to the communion chalice recovered in Spain , it is possible to decode by its curves the image of a church .

The excavation site is marked on the map of Paris as being in the 16th arrondissement in the west of the city, in the Quartier de Chaillot.
