Farmer Fitzgerald is the uncle of Sean Fitzgerald and is met in Lochmarne, Ireland where he is guarding a large stack of hay to prevent people hurting themselves trying to climb it. He is sit by the entrance of the Lochmarne Castle.
George Stobbart manages to change the farmer's mind and see if his nephew is safe and sound from the car accident. Then George, has the path free to climb the haystack and enter the castle.
