Hi there, my name is Luke and I've recently been editing this site in order to get it up to scratch for the upcoming release of the fifth Broken Sword game. In that vain I hope to incite various discussions about our favourite game. So for starters:
What is your favourite Broken Sword game of the series and why?
I'll start off and say that without a doubt my favourite game of the series is the original and by far the best. Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars came out 2 years after my birthday so I didn't truly get to sample the game until 1999. It was my first game of any genre and still to this day my favourite. It blended adventure with story-telling and simple point-n-click gameplay with inspiring music. When later games such as Mass Effect came out I instantly looked back at Broken Sword in nostalgia, by no means the same game, they both focus on story over everything else and this has made both games incredibly important in my development as a gamer.
